Skiddie was dropped off at CatTails Feline Health Center, one of our partner vet practices. She was in a box with 5 siblings. A waiting client saw the lid blow off and the kittens scatter toward Nevada Avenue. She gathered them up and brought them in to Dr. Clauss. They had an excellent foster mom before coming to us.
Skiddie was an outgoing kitten who reveled in learning new tricks, like jumping hurdles on cue. She was adopted by a family with kids and a nice dog named Tillie. She’d been recently spayed when she went to her new home and we cautioned them to try to keep her quiet for a few days. Juniper, the dad, kept her in her carrier by the bed and to keep her quiet, he slept with his hand in the carrier, soothing her. What a lucky kitty. We hope Tillie is as happy as Skiddie looks like she is!
