It takes a village to maintain a cat shelter. Happy Cats would not be able to help the thousands of cats and kittens we help without help from our community.
Happy Cats Haven is a 501c3 designated charity, Tax ID number 45-1633134, approved July 31, 2011. We do not receive any government funding. All our support comes from private individuals and grants. Eighty-seven percent of all money we raise goes directly to making sure every cat and kitten is healthy, happy and adoptable. For every full-time equivalent staff member, we adopted over 160 cats and kittens in 2015. This was made possible by all of our dedicated, loving volunteers.
