How much does a adoption cost? and can we spenda lil time with them to pick and choose? Thank you!
Hello, All our cats and kittens are on special this month. The cats are $71 and the kittens are $100, which includes their spays/neuters, virus testing, microchips, vaccinations, food & litter starter kit, a month of free health insurance and a free vet visit voucher. You can spend all the time you need to make up your minds which cat or kitten. We want you both to be very happy!
I’m wondering if there would be an option for short-term fostering available? I’m in a rough transition period in my life at the moment and would like to find somewhere for my two cats to stay temporarily until I can get them to a good home w a family member. I’m hoping it would be only a month, maybe two. Is that something you’d be able to help with by any chance? I’d pay the person hanging onto them for me for food, litter, etc. Just need some short-term help. Thanks!!
Hi Laura, Unfortunately, we aren’t licensed for boarding. But if it’s OK, we can post your situation on our Facebook page in the hope that someone with room would be able to help out. If you click on the Facebook icon at the top of the webpage, that will take you to Facebook where we can share your story when you post it there.
I had to put my 13 yr old brown tabby maine coon mix down last week due to health issues. I got her when she was 6 weeks old. I had her for 13 years, she was a wonderful cat. I want to find another maine coon mix…they are just so sweet. If you happen to get any kittens in, could you contact me at either my e-mail address, or at 930-5824? I am looking for a brown tabby maine coon mix again. Thanks!
Hi Kim, So sorry to hear about your kitty. We’ll keep an eye open but right now the only one on the horizon is a LH black kitten who’s likely got some Coony in him. He should be available in about 6 weeks. If you go to the tabs at the top of the website and click on Adopt, you’ll find a link to the Adoption Application. You can download, fill out and return to our email address. This will keep your application on file until we get in a kitten who meets your criteria and can notify you. Thanks!
Hi there! Just wondering about our kittens you rescued at Fountain Terrace Apts. last month. You got the mom spade and the 3 Siamaise and 1 gray were taken to a Foster home. Are they already adopted out? Thanks. We kinda got attached. haha
We understand…we get attached too! They’re doing just fine at their foster home. These little ones have been renamed after vacuum cleaners because of their appetites. Kirby, Hoover, Dyson and Eureka will be getting their surgeries very soon so we hope to get them on the website by next weekend.
Hi! We adopted Hoover last night. He had a great night and is getting along really well with his new brothers. They all slept with us last night. We feel very lucky to have him. Thank you so much!
Thank you for adopting him! We’re so glad things are going so well already and that he can help heal everyone’s sorry. Give him a hug for us!
I have a borderline adult female calico cat that I found abandoned in my apartment complex took her to the vet and they said she had dehydration issues and a upper respiratory infection. they gave me some pills and sent her home with me. I got her all set up put her under a blanket put some water in her and gave her the meds. when I woke up the next morning to check on her she couldn’t move or focus on anything with her eyes ( they’re kind of like shes reading) her head even rocks from side to side like shes shaking her head no. i have no idea how to help her. She has a hard time breathing when her body is level so i have to rest her on my chest and she’ll pur for me when i do that is there anything i can do to help her further
You need to get this kitty to a vet right away. It sounds like she might have had a reaction to the medication. Please don’t wait any longer!
