I have a 12 year old neutered declawed male Himalayan silver point cat that I am no longer able to keep. We rescued him a year ago from the streets and since then we have determined that my son is drastically allergic to him. His airway nearly closes when he comes in contact with the cat. This cat has been bounced around through the dumb friends league in castle rock for many years. We were hoping to offer him his forever home, but sadly that is not the case. We are in need of a loving person to adopt/foster him. He does much better with older children or no children at all. He is very shy. He is beautiful and loves attention from women. He is a bit nervous around men.
I would appreciate any help at all. It is breaking our hearts to have to go through this, but I must put my son’s health first.
Thank you!
Jeannie Reddan
I rescued Sammie about 10 years ago from the streets of Fountain. My parent’s cat had just passed and they were very upset. I brought them Sammie and they fell in love with her. She is a beautiful Tuxedo.
My mom passed from cancer 3 years ago and dad continued to love and care for Sammie. Sammie has been a great companion for Dad. Dad has had a stroke and has moved to skilled nursing and Sammie needs a new home.
Sammie is lost without someone to love. If you know someone needing a furry friend please let me know.
Hello, Sammie sounds like a wonderful companion. You’d be welcome to fill out our Intake Application and get Sammie on the waiting list. We usually have a wait of around 2 months, depending on how many adoptions take place. If you’d like to find her a home sooner, we suggest contacting Safe Place for Pets, which helps out elders or others who are very ill to place their pets. Their number is on this page.

Hello, We are not associated with Pet Project, so we do not have information about your cats. We have verified their phone number, 719-583-1113. That will probably be your best way to contact them.
